We hold regular ale festivals throughout the year, which have become a highlight for ale enthusiasts. These festivals are a celebration of fine real ales, and we feature up to 20 different ales at a time for you to enjoy. It's a fantastic opportunity to explore new flavours and find new favourites.
Live Music and Open Mic Nights
Music lovers will feel right at home at the Solent Inn. We host weekly live music events, bringing some of the town’s most talented performers to our stage.
Our popular Open Mic Night every Thursday from 8 pm to 11 pm invites everyone to either participate or simply relax with a drink and enjoy the show.

One of Ryde's best kept secrets, the Solent Inn is a gem of a traditional pub with a lovely garden, covered outdoor area and French doors leading into the lounge bar. Worked great as the start and end point for the Harriers trail run and I was privileged to provide live music entertainment from the bay window area through the lounge bar into the garden. This is where they have the renowned open mic on Thursdays as well. Perfect for parties - Hip atmosphere

We rented some of the pub for our daughter’s christening on Sunday! Food was amazing! The staff were friendly helpful and very professional! They set up my little bits for our arrival which was incredible! Everyone had a lovely time! Thank you very much.
